Hi and thanks for stopping by!

This will be just a quick update. I’m still planning to get involved in technology to bring you more regular updates. A blog would be great…once I get past the learning curve. I’ll keep at it and let you know.

My Market Bag pattern (HhQ7343) is doing well. It’s fat quarter friendly and reusable, with a bit more style than some utilitarian bags. Check out the Photo Gallery to see a few different versions of the same bag.

And take a look at my “Charm Spools Runner” pattern (HhQ7340). This will be a great way to use some of your charm square collection. It’s fast, it’s fun and you can make it in so many combinations! I’ve got a few versions pictured in the gallery for inspiration.

Coming Soon: Watch for the large size Spool Toss Quilt…fat quarter friendly or super scrappy quilt.

My sincere apologies to Keron P, Shirley H and Cathy Burkett. They all sent me photos of their projects and my computer ate them. We had a terrible computer crash and lost all of our email documents, contacts, addresses and photos.

Here’s what they said:
Keron P writes, “Here are photos of my first Wrap it to Go cover. I’m really pleased with the way it turned out. It is a great pattern for gifts and for using my fabric stash and batting left over from other projects.”

Shirley H writes, “I quilted a large flower in all the flower squares (Terry’s Flower Bed). In the green triangles, I quilted a fleur-de-lis design and in the corners, a thistle design. (My mother-in-law is of Scottish descent; the thistle is the Scottish flower.) The one border is a stone pattern - sort of a pathway around the garden.”

I promise to post the photos if I can get new ones or somehow find the originals.

On a more personal note: My heart goes out to those who have been affected by this year’s multiple natural disasters. And my “Thank You” goes out to all the shop owners who have organized relief efforts. Please reach out, donate what you can and let the victims know that they aren’t forgotten. After the headlines disappear, the need still remains.

My Tuesday Ladies and I set aside one day each month to assemble giving quilts. We choose a different design each month, make the blocks on our own and see how many we can make in a day. Our local quilt shop gives us the room to spread out. We get to try new techniques and use up some of our stash. It has the feel of an old fashioned quilting bee, whether you have two quilters or twenty.

Thanks so much for your business. If you need anything, please let me know…I’ll be here!

Terry
